Job description

Tasks

  • Assemble base frames, wall panels, cabinets, and internal equipment components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly plans.
  • Use various hand and power tools to assemble custom HVAC equipment.
  • Handle material handling equipment, including forklifts.
  • Perform tasks with a constant attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (helmet, gloves, goggles, hearing protection, etc.).
  • Perform any other assigned tasks as needed.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Experience operating machinery.
  • Postsecondary education or relevant experience.
  • Experience using a forklift (forklift truck).
  • Basic knowledge of assembly and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of and appreciation for production work are major assets.
  • Previous welding experience is an asset.
  • Experience in sheet metal work, metal fabrication processes, and/or HVAC equipment is an asset.
