If you're ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter - and build a career with a company that's building North America - we want to hear from you!ABOUT THE ROLEAmrize Construction, based in Saskatoon, SK is currently seeking a full-time Concrete Finisher - Lead Hand to join our team for municipal concrete projects. As a Concrete Finisher - Lead Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction of concrete curbs, sidewalks, and other municipal structures. If you have strong leadership abilities and a background in concrete construction, we encourage you to apply for this position.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHSupervise and coordinate the activities of concrete crew members, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.Assist with the preparation of work sites, including setting up forms, pouring concrete, and finishing surfaces.Operate and maintain concrete construction equipment and tools.Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.Train and mentor junior crew members to develop their skills and expertise in concrete construction.Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.Train and mentor junior crew members to develop their skills and expertise in concrete construction.Monitor quality control and ensure that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORRequired Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete construction, with a focus on municipal projects.Required Technical Skills : Basic aptitude for using applications.
