This role plays a crucial part in maintaining strong customer relationships by providing excellent service with a professional and friendly attitude. The position requires a service-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure high-quality product delivery.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHProvide consistent and reliable customer service through timely and professional delivery of Ready Mix Concrete.Build and maintain relationships of trust with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction.Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle through daily pre- and post-trip inspections.Collaborate effectively with Logistics and Operations teams to ensure seamless coordination.Demonstrate strong knowledge of traffic rules and regulations while operating commercial vehicles.Efficiently navigate Grande Prairie and surrounding areas to optimize on-time deliveries.Utilize electronic devices (tablets, GPS, etc.) for operations and communication.Commit to ongoing learning and development through Amrize's Ready Mix Training Program.Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation: Grade 12 or equivalentRequired Work Experience: Experience as a Ready Mix Driver or in a related field preferredRequired Training/Certifications: Class 3 Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1 Q license - Driver's abstract required when applyingRequired Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic devices such as tablets and GPS systemsTravel Requirements: Local travel required to job sitesAdditional Requirements:Strong written and verbal communication skillsRelationship-building with external customers and internal Amrize personnelHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsAbility to lift over 50 lbsFlexible schedule, including potential weekend shiftsOpen-minded and quick learnerSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
