We are looking for certified millwrights to join our team in Orillia ASAP! This is a direct-hire position – that means you will be on our client’s payroll from day 1! Let us connect you with an exciting career opportunity!
Shift Options – choose one that works best for you:
– Continental shift, straight days (7am-7pm)
– Continental shift, straight nights (7pm-7am)
Pay rate:
– $35/hour
– $0.65/hour shift premium for nights

Responsibilities:
– Perform inspections, adjustments and repairs on production and facilities equipment
– Install, dismantle and overhaul machinery
– Analyze mechanical problems and troubleshoot errors and breakdowns
– Perform inspections, PMs and correct issues through workorder program in a timely manner
– Operate machine tools including lathes, drills, grinders, saws, hand tools etc
Qualifications:
– Red Seal Millwright License
– 5+ years with hands on repair and maintenance of machinery in high volume manufacturing environment
– Technical skills with experience working on mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems
– Strong knowledge of preventative/predictive maintenance schedules
– PLC knowledge and experience considered an asset
– Proven ability to lead a task or project as well as take direction from others
