Sr. Development Lead – Marketing Platforms
Summary
McKesson Canada is seeking a Senior Development Lead – Marketing Platforms to provide hands-on technical leadership across enterprise marketing technologies. This role drives the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Marketo, and the broader marketing technology ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate developers to deliver high-quality solutions across marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Marketo
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in solution design, development, and implementation
- Review and approve solution designs, architecture, and code to ensure quality and alignment to standards
- Establish and promote best practices for development, integration, and deployment
- Partner with product owners, business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver integrated marketing solutions
- Manage delivery timelines, risks, dependencies, and technical execution
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, regulatory, and quality standards
- Mentor developers and foster a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing
Marketing Platform Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (B2C marketing solutions)
- Support Adobe Marketo (B2B marketing automation) initiatives with business stakeholders
- Guide integration between marketing platforms and CRM / enterprise systems
- Support and enhance additional tools across the marketing technology ecosystem
What You Bring
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and enterprise marketing platforms
- Proven experience leading development teams and delivering complex technical solutions
- Deep understanding of SDLC, integration patterns, and enterprise architecture
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience mentoring and coaching developers
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
Preferable Skills & Experience
- Salesforce certifications
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (B2C)
- Experience with Adobe Marketo (B2B marketing automation)
- Experience with Qualtrics, Swoogo, and Concord / Opero
- Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments
- Experience integrating marketing platforms with Salesforce CRM or enterprise systems
