Job description
Join Homewood Health as a mental health counselor in Goderich, Ontario, focusing on solution-oriented brief therapy. Provide essential support to clients needing short-term interventions.

Homewood Health is looking for registered professionals to deliver in-person counseling services, particularly for the Stay at Work Services and Employee and Family Assistance Program. This role involves working with adult individuals, couples, families, and children, targeting a spectrum of concerns, including stress management and interpersonal relationship issues. Clinical consultation with management may also be a part of the position.

Key Responsibilities: • Offer solution-focused therapy for diverse client needs • Engage effectively with couples, families, and individuals • Uphold professional and ethical standards in practice • Participate in clinical consultations when needed • Address areas like workplace challenges and addictions

Requirements: • Master’s or appropriate Bachelor’s degree in counseling/social work • Valid registration with a provincial regulatory body • At least 3 years of relevant counseling experience • Professional liability insurance of $2,000,000 • Competence in English and French; additional languages valued
