Job Title: Warehouse OperatorJob DescriptionThis role focuses on efficiently handling products within a fast-paced warehouse environment, including picking, packing, consolidating, sorting, palletizing, and receiving goods. You will operate material handling equipment, follow inventory control procedures, and use warehouse management systems to ensure accurate product movement and storage.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, consolidate, sort, palletize, and receive products according to established procedures and standards.
- Load and unload pallets safely and efficiently from trailers, docks, and staging areas.
- Transport and stage pallets in designated storage locations within the warehouse.
- Maintain proper product rotation to ensure inventory accuracy and reduce product loss.
- Follow inventory control procedures to support accurate stock levels and product tracking.
- Scan and update product movement using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
- Operate walkie or center rider forklifts and pump trucks to move materials throughout the facility.
- Handle materials safely, including lifting up to 50 lbs and using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and workflow.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Essential Skills- Minimum 1 year of experience operating a walkie or center rider forklift.
- Proficiency using RF scanners to track and update product movement.
- Experience operating a pump truck for material handling.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to safely lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team.
- Experience with material handling in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Comfort using warehouse management systems for scanning and inventory updates.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center.
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures and product rotation practices.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when picking, packing, and scanning products.
- Strong focus on safety and adherence to operational guidelines.

Work Environment
This position is based in a warehouse setting that focuses on tools, equipment, and related products. You will work primarily on the evening shift from 4:00 . to 12:30 ., Monday to Friday. The role involves frequent standing, bending, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs, as well as regular use of forklifts (walkie or center rider), pump trucks, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems. The environment is fast-paced and structured around safe material handling, organized storage, and accurate inventory control.
