What it’s like to be a Northbridge Executive Underwriter, Learning and Quality Specialist (Personal Lines)

Our Executive Underwriter, Learning and Quality Specialist (Personal Lines) customize solutions for our internal clients when they need advice on covering our insurance risks. They work closely with our Underwriters to develop unique Personal Lines Home and Auto solutions. The Executive Underwriter stays abreast of the industry developments and uses their expertise to refine existing or develop new products and guidelines that meet our customers’ needs.

They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders – this means emails and phone calls don’t go unanswered, and in-person or virtual meetings are planned. They also pay attention to the smallest of details, build written communications to help guide our underwriters in risk assessment, and are the sought-out “go-to” Personal Lines subject matter experts from many of our partners in Actuarial, Legal, Claims, Finance, and System teams.

Complex Personal Lines Underwriting

Coaching & Mentoring

If you have :

Post-Secondary Education in an Insurance focused program or related program

Completed or working toward the CIP designation

10+ years of Personal Underwriting experience – High Net Worth experience is an asset

Customer-first mentality

Bilingual (French / English) is an asset
