Job descriptionWORK WITH US Service-Meets-Retail,
Experiential Skincare Company
Company description Founded in 2019, Formula Fig is an innovative digital-first experiential skincare company operating 8+ Fig Bar locations across Canada (Vancouver, Toronto) and the US (Los Angeles). We've built a flywheel model connecting formulafig.com with our physical Fig Bars, offering high-tech treatments integrated with carefully curated third-party retail products. Our treatments seamlessly incorporate both partner products and our proprietary skincare line, FFFormulations, which launches this year—marking our evolution into a fully integrated treatment and product brand.
Role Overview We’re seeking a strategic and operationally-minded Director of Supply Chain & Logistics to build and lead the operational engine powering Formula Fig’s next stage of growth. This role will oversee the full supply chain ecosystem across retail, eCommerce, and FFFormulations — including sourcing, inventory strategy, logistics, fulfillment, and cross-border distribution.
This is a foundational leadership hire at a pivotal moment for the business. As Formula Fig continues to scale its multi-market retail footprint and launch FFFormulations, you will be responsible for building the systems, processes, and operational disciplines needed to support long‑term growth. You’ll own end‑to‑end supply chain and product operations across both sides of the business: our third‑party brand portfolio and FFFormulations, our proprietary product line. This role requires a leader who can think strategically while also driving operational execution across a fast‑moving environment.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll partner closely with the CFO on forecasting and financial planning, the Head of Digital & Technology on eCommerce fulfillment and systems, and the Sr. Product Developer on FFFormulations launches and future product expansion.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
End-to-end supply chain for both the third-party brand portfolio and FFFormulations: procurement → manufacturing → DC → distribution → last-mile
Demand planning, S&OP, and allocation across 8 Fig Bars + eCom + Pod (treatment‑room consumables), cross-border US/CA
Factory and sourcing relationships: CDMO management for FFFormulations, raw materials, COGS engineering
Packaging (primary, secondary, tertiary) for proprietary line
3PL and last-mile delivery for retail replenishment and eCom fulfilment
Assortment and merchandising strategy: partnering with product development and marketing informing inventory optimization, SKU architecture, range planning, brand partner curation in partnership with the product development team
Phase‑in / phase‑out discipline across the brand portfolio
Inventory health: turns, working capital efficiency, write‑off discipline
Team leadership: lead a current team of two (Supply Chain Manager + Associate) and build out planning, fulfilment, and brand partner ops as we scale
Operational governance: install S&OP cadence, run weekly tactical / monthly category / quarterly strategic reviews
Budget ownership: own the operations budget, COGS and margin, manage cost‑to‑serve
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
8–12 years of supply chain and operations experience, ideally in beauty, CPG, or manufacturing‑led consumer environments
Track record of execution and improvement — you've taken processes from broken to working, and from manual to scalable
Experience scaling operations and optimizing inventory through a growth phase — you're comfortable in environments where systems are being built and innovated, not just maintained
Strong procurement and sourcing foundation — vendor negotiation, contract management
Multi‑channel retail experience — brick + DTC, ideally cross‑border US/CA
NPD operations — deeply experienced with new product development launches end‑to‑end
ERP fluency — Oracle, NetSuite, AS400, or comparable. Our stack is MindBody (POS/booking), Shopify (eCom), Unleashed (inventory), Asana (PM)
3PL and logistics management — you've worked with 3PL partners and understand the relationship
Demand planning and forecasting capability; comfortable running S&OP as a discipline, not just a meeting
Practical and collaborative — you operate in the weeds and translate it into structure; you work well with founders and fast‑moving teams
Budget ownership and reporting experience
Experience managing people, building teams
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Formula Fig is entering a pivotal stage of growth and we’re evolving from a fast‑growing service‑led retail concept into a fully integrated retail and product company.
You’ll step into a business with:
8 retail locations and strong underlying unit economics
A proprietary product launch already in motion
Meaningful operational investment already underway, including a comprehensive operations audit completed in May 2026 with a defined 100‑day roadmap
A founder‑led leadership team committed to building scalable infrastructure thoughtfully and investing in the right long‑term operational foundation
COMPENSATION & LOGISTICS
Director‑level role
Base + equity + benefits — meaningful equity reflecting the foundational nature of the role
Vancouver, or Toronto preferred. Remote considered for the right candidate.
Compensation: $135,000 - $145,000 CAD
