Job description
Become a vital Community Connector at LutherCare Communities, focusing on enhancing the recreational and educational experiences of residents with developmental challenges. This full-time role emphasizes social interaction and engagement.

In the permanent position of Community Connector, you will focus on meeting the specific needs of residents through creative programming and supportive activities. Collaborating with the Recreation and Development Manager, you will facilitate outings, events, and functions that promote community involvement and enhance the quality of life.

Key Responsibilities: • Facilitate resident involvement in activities and events • Plan and conduct recreational programming • Maintain accurate records and budget for each resident • Ensure effective communication with residents and staff • Organize special outings and community activities

Requirements: • Grade 12 and related post-secondary education • Experience working with high-needs residents • Successful completion of TLR and PART training • Valid driver's license for wheelchair bus operation • Strong planning and organizational abilities
