Job description
Join a team of dedicated physicians in Tofino, BC, as a Family Practice Doctor, focused on delivering holistic primary care to a vibrant coastal community. Enjoy the beautiful West Coast lifestyle while serving various clinics.

This permanent position involves working across established medical facilities, including Ucluelet and Hitacu Health Center, while also providing care at Tofino General Hospital. Your role will be vital in delivering longitudinal family practice supported by strong community partners. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in rural healthcare and a commitment to cultural safety.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct longitudinal primary care across multiple locations • Provide inpatient and emergency services in Tofino • Collaborate with Island Health and First Nations health services • Engage in educational initiatives at the UBC Island Medical School • Support community health projects through the Divisions of Family Practice

Requirements: • Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC • Relevant rural healthcare experience • Ability to engage with culturally diverse populations • ACLS certification is preferred • Flexibility to work in various clinic environments
