Job description
Take your actuarial skills to the next level with Athene as a Senior Actuarial Associate focused on Pricing and Reserves. Emphasize advanced modeling while supporting key financial insights in a collaborative environment.
This role involves supporting the PRT pricing team with in-depth actuarial modeling and financial analyses critical for evaluations and strategic pricing discussions. You will be responsible for developing projection models, conducting impact analyses for reinsurance transactions, and assisting with model validation. Collaboration with senior actuaries on complex matters ensures your analysis remains aligned with departmental goals and enhances process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct actuarial modeling in the PRT pricing platform • Create and maintain cash flow projection models • Offer analysis to assist in pricing management reviews • Support transactions and evaluate financial impacts • Participate in governance activities for model validation
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field • ASA designation or significant exam advancement • 4-6 years of pertinent actuarial expertise • Preferred background in pension or retirement products • Excellent modeling and communication skills
