Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal conditions, pituitary dysfunction, osteoporosis, and other endocrine diseases
Review and interpret laboratory results, hormonal panels, and medical imaging to support accurate diagnosis and ongoing management
Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans including pharmacological therapies, lifestyle interventions, and patient education
Provide longitudinal follow-up and self-management support for patients with complex or chronic endocrine conditions
Ensure comprehensive and timely documentation using the clinic's electronic medical record (EMR) system
Eligibility Requirements
Medical degree with completed specialty training in Endocrinology and Metabolism
Eligible for registration with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
International qualifications such as MRCP (UK), FRACP (Australia), FRCPI (Ireland), or ABIM (Endocrinology) recognized as equivalent by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
