Title: Technical Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 103 days until the end of November/26 - possibity of extension.

Clearance: Must be Eligible for Reliability Status

Hybrid Workplace & Videoconferencing Strategy

• Provide strategic advisory services related to enterprise videoconferencing and hybrid workplace modernization
• Assist with the development of enterprise meeting room standards and technology roadmaps
• Provide recommendations related to Microsoft Teams Rooms deployment models, operational governance, and lifecycle planning
• Research emerging AV/VC and collaboration technologies and assess applicability within the federal government environment
• Assist with the evaluation of AI-enabled meeting technologies, collaboration platforms, room analytics, and intelligent workplace capabilities
• Support long-term modernization planning and continuous improvement initiatives

Technical Design & Solution Oversight

• Develop and provide technical review and oversight of AV/VC solution designs
• Assist with the development and validation of room technology standards
• Develop and review architectural considerations associated with Microsoft Teams Rooms, DSP platforms, AV Control and Automation, room integrations, and device management
• Provide technical guidance related to the integration of Microsoft Teams Rooms with Microsoft 365 tenant services, including account configuration, licensing considerations, device enrollment, policy management, security controls, and interoperability with enterprise collaboration services.
• Support security assessment activities related to AV/VC and Microsoft Teams Rooms solutions, including contributing technical input, documentation, risk identification, and coordination activities associated with Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) processes and departmental security review requirements.
• Participate in technical working groups and design review sessions
• Assist with validating integrator deliverables and ensuring alignment to design intent and operational requirements

Deployment Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement

• Coordinate activities between internal teams, vendors, integrators, facilities personnel, network teams, security teams, and operational stakeholders
• Assist with deployment planning, implementation sequencing, and issue coordination
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance related to implementation activities
• Support risk identification, issue management, and deployment readiness activities
• Provide executive-level briefings, technical summaries, and implementation status updates where required

Lab & Validation Environment Establishment

• Plan and establish a collaboration technology lab environment
• Develop recommendations for standardized room configurations, validation methodologies, pilot deployments, and operational testing procedures
• Coordinate proof-of-concept and pilot activities for new AV/VC technologies
• Support testing and validation of Microsoft Teams Rooms devices, peripheral technologies, interoperability, and monitoring capabilities
• Assist with documenting lab configurations and testing outcomes

Operational Readiness & Process Development

• Develop operational workflows, escalation procedures, support documentation, and deployment playbooks
• Support governance and change management practices related to collaboration technologies
• Assist with defining operational metrics, reporting approaches, and service improvement recommendations
