Inventory Compliance Coordinator
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Inventory & Compliance Coordinator to support critical regulatory and inventory tracking processes within a controlled environment. This role is essential to ensuring compliance with CRA Excise Act requirements and Health Canada Cannabis regulations, while maintaining accurate, audit-ready records across the full product lifecycle.
Reporting to the Senior Materials Manager, you will act as a key liaison across Finance, Quality, Inventory, Production, R&D, Product Development, and Regulatory teams, ensuring precision in reporting, reconciliation, and controlled inventory management. This role is on-site, based out of Stayner, ON.

What You’ll Be Responsible For Compliance & Regulatory Reporting - Prepare, validate, and submit monthly CRA and Health Canada reports
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation to support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control standards
Inventory Tracking & Reconciliation - Manage the full lifecycle of excise stamps, including ordering, receipt, tracking, usage, and destruction
- Perform monthly reconciliations, including variance analysis and root cause investigation
- Conduct cycle counts and full inventory reconciliations to maintain accuracy
- Maintain detailed and accurate inventory records within ERP systems
Controlled Product & Destruction Coordination - Coordinate and document product destruction processes across multiple departments
- Prepare inventory listings and arrange waste pickup
- Reconcile ERP transactions associated with destruction activities
Cross-Functional Coordination - Work closely with teams across Warehouse, Inventory Control, QA, R&D, Logistics, and Regulatory
- Support process consistency and data integrity across departments
What You Bring - Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or Quality (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in a detail-focused role such as:
- Inventory control
- Finance or accounting support
- Operations or logistics coordination
- Data-heavy administrative roles
- Strong attention to detail with experience managing high-volume, accuracy-driven tasks
- Experience performing reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, and data validation
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills in a structured environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Assets (Nice to Have) - Experience in a regulated industry (cannabis, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, manufacturing)
- Exposure to CRA excise processes or Health Canada regulations
- Experience supporting audits or maintaining audit-ready documentation
- Background in controlled inventory environments
