About the Role:

As we continue to expand our presence across Saskatchewan and Manitoba, we are seeking a strong, locally based leader to support regional growth, strengthen partnerships, and drive operational success.
We are currently seeking an Area Manager to play a key role in establishing and growing Technica's footprint across the region. This position will focus on building high-performing teams, supporting business development initiatives, and fostering strong relationships with clients, Indigenous partners, and local communities. The Area Manager will be based out of our Saskatchewan office.
The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Lead regional operations and ensure operational excellence across project sites.
- Build, mentor, and support high-performing teams focused on safety, productivity, and collaboration.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while strengthening client relationships.
- Support regional growth strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage operational budgets and deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with Indigenous communities and organizations to strengthen partnerships and support local economic development initiatives.
- Represent Technica Mining professionally within the Saskatchewan and Manitoba mining sector
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of management and/or operations leadership experience in the mining industry.
- Strong network within Saskatchewan's mining sector and understanding of regional operations.
- Experience in the potash and uranium sectors is considered a strong asset.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and support business growth.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and operational excellence.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and stakeholders is considered an asset
- Post-secondary degree in engineering or business is considered an asset
