SAP Functional Consultant - Finance

MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking an SAP Functional Consultant - Finance for a 6 month contract role with a client of ours located in Vancouver
Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP S/4 HANA FI/CO and associated modules supporting the Company’s business requirements, while maintaining a high degree of stakeholders’ satisfaction.
• Implementing end-to-end SAP solutions that best fit the business requirements and processes
• Facilitating the implementation and support of SAP S4 Finance and Controlling module to enhance the Company’s business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of stakeholders’ satisfaction.
• Coordinate and execute Change Requests from Process design through Functional Specifications and Implementation, including coordination of resource partners for end-to-end process coverage.
• Maintain ongoing collaboration with business stakeholders and peers to gather and interpret user/system requirements, pain points, and process issues. Develop and maintain prioritization of change requests.
• Configuring of the FICO solutions in SAP S/4 HANA for Fashion and vertical business, including good understanding of cross-module implications in end-to-end processes, particularly with the Logistics and SD modules.
• Leading stakeholders in detailed business process blueprint activities to create blueprints and use cases/user stories.
• Preparing detailed functional specifications for development activities, including workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
• Executing unit testing, functional testing, and system integration testing is completed to standards.
• Ensuring 2nd/3rd level support and liaising with key users to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Participating in the development and review of training materials, and taking part in training delivery where required for new releases of SAP or in cases of changes and enhancements in SAP functionality
• Maintain updated knowledge on SAP best practices, roadmap, and technologies to provide informed architectural and design decisions.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of omnichannel business processes, ideally in the world of retail, wholesale, fashion, footwear, or similar
• Background in implementing S4 and/or SAP FMS, SAP AFS.
• Strong knowledge of integration between Finance and other functional modules, including Sales & Distributions, Materials Management, etc.
• Extensive knowledge of Order processing (Services, Finished Goods), Output Management, Pricing, Fulfillment & Invoice processing.
• Thorough and demonstrable knowledge of General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Special Purpose Ledger (FI-SL), Cost element accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, SAP Digital Payment Add On (DPAO), SAP Customer Cloud Payment (CCP), among others
• Excellent collaborator while also able to work effectively with a team
