Job Description:
The Analyst, Accounts Payable & T&E Continuous Improvement, is a strategic role responsible for proactively driving end-to-end process transformation and operational excellence within Accounts Payable and T&E. This position will lead complex investigations into recurring issues, deliver actionable insights on efficiency, standardization, and process re-engineering, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities. The Analyst will partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, drive high-value automation initiatives, and champion the adoption of industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as the expert advisor, providing recommendations and driving execution of process improvement, digital transformation, and automation strategies.
· Independently lead root cause analyses on high-impact, complex recurring issues and synthesize business intelligence for presentation to senior leadership.
· Oversee and coordinate end-to-end cross-functional assessments across multiple ERP platforms and business segments, identifying enterprise-wide opportunities for integration and standardization.
· Drive change management for new process initiatives and track post-implementation success metrics.
· Establish governance frameworks, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure continuous process improvement in adherence to internal and external compliance mandates.
· Mentor and provide advanced guidance to the Accounts Payable & T&E team, building team capability for analytical thinking and process excellence.
· Collaborate regularly with IT, finance, procurement, and operations leadership to foster joint accountability for process outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience:
· 3-5+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, process improvement, or operations within a large, complex and/or global organization – PTP chain experience would be considered an asset.
· Demonstrated expertise in leading end-to-end process improvements, including process mapping, risk assessments, and cross-functional alignment.
· Self-motivated and independent individual who is able to take initiative, work with minimal supervision, and proactively drive results.
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a recognized institution or equivalent relevant experience.
