Compensation: CAD 134,080 - CAD 184,000 yearly
Location: This role can be based in Mississauga Office or Burlington office, hybrid mode with 2 days a week at the office.
Key Responsibilities
Technical leadership, project management, business development, and client relationship building.
Technical coordination and project management across disciplines.
Design and rehabilitation of hydroelectric stations.
Engineering of hydraulic structures (buildings, dams, spillways, gate lifting mechanisms, intakes, etc.).
Structural and stability calculations.
Feasibility studies, preliminary designs, detailed designs, and technical assessments.
Dam safety reviews and risk assessments.
Inspections of hydraulic structures and hydroelectric facilities.
Preparation of technical drawings and specifications.
Analysis of construction methods and cost estimation.Technical support during construction, both remotely and on-site.
Collaboration with engineering and technical teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
Post Graduate degree is an asset.
Minimum 15 years of experience in design, construction and project management of dams and hydroelectric projects.
Experience in seismic engineering and dynamic analysis of structures is an asset.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Versatility and interest in diverse engineering projects.
Autonomy, initiative, and strong teamwork skills.
Be able to do site visits and traveling (20%).
