About the role We’re looking to welcome an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful execution of major capital projects at Coté Gold, an IAMGOLD operation. You will oversee projects from early study phases through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and final handover to Operations.

This role is site‑based and carries full accountability and authority for delivering complex greenfield and brownfield projects safely, on schedule, on budget, and aligned with IAMGOLD’s Zero Harm values. You will bring leadership, technical expertise, and operational understanding to ensure projects deliver long‑term value to the mine and its people.

This role is Rotation based work with cross‑shift 7/7 or 14/14.

Responsibilities

Lead project studies, engineering coordination, construction, commissioning, and project handover.

Develop Project Execution Plans, including constructability, brownfield tie‑ins, and shutdown sequencing.

Manage contractors, consultants, schedules, budgets, risks, and HSSE performance.

Oversee project resources (labour, equipment, materials) and ensure safe field execution.

Prepare and manage RFPs, contracts, and procurement for project delivery.

Mentor and guide site engineers and work closely with Operations, Engineering, and other teams.

Key Skills & Knowledge

Post‑secondary education in Engineering.

10 plus years’ experience in project engineering, construction, or project management.

Experience in mining or industrial construction.

Proven experience with brownfield tie‑ins, shutdowns, and commissioning.

Working knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with Oracle, EcoSys, or Primavera is an asset.

Understanding construction methodologies, engineering studies, and EPCM phases.
