Job description
Join York Region as a Project Control Officer, specializing in effective project scheduling and management in Newmarket, Ontario. This role supports the PMO by ensuring accurate project timelines and budget alignment.

You will directly assist Project Managers and workstream leads in maintaining project schedules and tracking resources across workstreams. Your role will involve monitoring financial forecasts and ensuring a consistent methodical approach to schedule management. This is a hybrid position allowing for flexible work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities: • Assist managers in project lifecycle management • Monitor change requests and project logs • Ensure resource tracking with security protocols • Validate budgets and reconcile financial data • Maintain project documentation and escalation of issues

Requirements: • Diploma in Business Administration or related field • Three years in project management support • Expertise in MS Project applications • Solid understanding of project management concepts • Ability to facilitate training sessions effectively
