4x Onsite Job Description: We are hiring for a Senior QE Automation Engineer (SDET) to join a high-impact technology team supporting enterprise-scale trading applications within capital markets. This role is ideal for experienced automation engineers who enjoy working on complex legacy systems, modernizing test frameworks, and partnering closely with front-office technology teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for regression testing across legacy and modern trading applications. Build and execute automated test scripts primarily using Python, including desktop automation and API/integration testing. Analyze and interpret legacy C++ code to understand application workflows and support automation accessibility enhancements. Create automated test coverage for backend systems, APIs, and end-to-end integration flows. Validate system behavior, backend data flows, and application stability across multiple environments. Support production systems during business hours, with participation in rotational overnight support. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, business stakeholders, and front-office users to ensure seamless system delivery. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Automation Testing, or SDET roles Proven experience building automation frameworks and regression suites from scratch Solid understanding of C++ codebase reading/debugging Experience with Windows desktop automation tools (e.g., pywinauto or similar) Strong exposure to API testing, integration testing, and system workflow validation Experience supporting production environments in enterprise applications Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner directly with business-facing teams Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Capital Markets or trading technology environments Exposure to legacy Windows application frameworks such as MFC Strong SQL and backend data validation experience Familiarity with AWS environments for testing and simulation Prior experience in enterprise trading or investment technology ecosystems The Company offers a total rewards package in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and requirements.
