To pursue its development, GMining Services is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to fill the position of:

Technical Architect Position Summary As part of the CSA team, the Technician Architect will be responsible for the design and development of technical architectural work related to industrial infrastructure. This includes drafting coordination, detailing, and preparing construction documents that comply with national and international codes and standards.

The role requires coordination with multiple disciplines and stakeholders to support design conception, procurement activities, CAPEX estimations, schedule, and construction execution.

The technician will also play a key role in ensuring alignment between design and field activities to guarantee successful project delivery.

Core Responsibilities

Prepare technical architectural documents such as specifications, scopes of work, and other construction documentation.

Coordinate with all disciplines internally, subcontractors, vendors, consultants and others to ensure the design and technical documents are issue in compliance with local and international codes and regulations.

Develop and manage architectural budgets (CAPEX), contributing to cost analysis and procurement strategies.

Coordinate the selection and procurement of architectural materials, including review of supplier packages.

Organize and manage technical architectural documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Handle architectural studies for new structures and site developments.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including those working remotely.

Provide innovative and practical solutions to resolve design and coordination issues.

Coordinate with project schedulers and controllers to ensure progress reporting accuracy.

Ensure construction activities are compliant with federal, state, and local codes, as well as internal standards and contractual obligations.

Provide field management and oversight of architectural work, when required.

Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge of applicable safety, environmental, and building codes and standards.

Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and environmental compliance on all project sites.

During site visits or field rotations, ensure appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to steel-toe boots and long-sleeved shirts, per the Health and Safety Plan.

Maintain physical and mental readiness to work in challenging site environments and extended hours, without compromising safety.

Requirements

University degree in Architectural

Minimum of 5 to 7years of progressive experience in technical architectural coordination and construction of industrial or similar large‑scale facilities.

Demonstrated experience working on active construction sites and with multidisciplinary teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).

Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and architectural visualization tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Fluent in English apart of native language (French is considered an asset).

Ability to work at heights and in various climatic conditions.
