About the Role
As an Associate Lawyer specializing in Insurance Defense and Coverage, you will engage in diverse litigation activities that span client advisories, discovery processes, mediations, trials, and appeals. The position promises a wealth of professional enrichment, encouraging you to sharpen your advocacy skills and deepen your expertise in a stimulating environment. An integral part of this role is taking charge of legal strategies, crafting comprehensive pleadings, and championing cases in both court and mediation forums.

What You Bring
  • Education & Licensure: Law degree from an accredited institution with active membership in the Alberta Law Society or equivalent.
  • Experience: 4 to 7 years in private practice or in-house legal settings, focusing on commercial litigation and insurance law.
  • Skills: Exceptional legal writing, analytical prowess, and problem-solving creativity.
  • Interpersonal Abilities: Excellent communication skills and a strong aptitude for client relationship development.
