requires the ability to work as a team member with good communication and interpersonal skills.Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:assists in reinforcement of American Sign Language (ASL) skillsprovides assistance and support to students within the integrated classroom and resource room settings (e.g. clarifies verbal instructions, checks comprehension of class information, reviews and reinforces concepts)assists in implementing programming to individual or small groups of children under the direction of the teacher of the deaf, classroom teacher, speech/language pathologist or others (includes work on IEP goals)maintains detailed records of student progress and behaviourchecks and troubleshoots students’ amplification equipmentadministers medication following established procedures when requiredother duties when requiredQualifications:complete secondary education or equivalent related experienceAmerican Sign Language Level 2.0 or higher is requiredprevious experience working or interacting with deaf and hard of hearing persons How to apply: Click the button "Apply Online" and log into your account.
