Job description
Hello! I'm Kim, a homeowner in Calgary, Alberta, looking for a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to join our household team in a long-term housekeeping/property management role. This position goes beyond basic housekeeping. I’m looking for someone who takes initiative, notices what needs to be done without constant direction, and uses good judgment and common sense to help keep our home and property running smoothly. Regular responsibilities include: • General housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organized home • Cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas • Dishes, oven cleaning, fridge cleaning, and window washing • Laundry and changing bed linens • Taking garbage and recycling bins out and bringing them back in • Refilling salt in the water softener as needed • Keeping an eye out for anything broken, worn, or needing replacement • Occasional dog walking • Occasional meal prep We also have a ranch property that may occasionally require housekeeping or light oversight. The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, self-motivated, and takes pride in maintaining a comfortable, well-run home. Applicants must be non-smokers, able to speak and communicate clearly in English, and have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. This is a part-time position with a minimum of 8 hours per week, paying $30 per hour. While we are primarily looking for one person, we would also consider a husband-and-wife team if it is the right fit. We are hoping to find someone who is looking for a steady, long-term role and who will become a trusted part of our household.
