Job description

Role et responsabilités

Relevant du président, le rôle du directeur - production est de diriger les activités de fabrication de deux lignes de produits qui se déroulent sur deux sites de production différents. Il (Elle) a la responsabilité de planifier, organiser et contrôler toutes les ressources de son département afin de rencontrer la cédule de production établie et d’assurer la conformité des produits finis. Également membre du comité de direction, le directeur de production devra notamment

  • Coordonner la production d’électroformes, defresnels et d’inserts pour les moules d’injection de plastique selon la planification établie et les ressources allouées;
  • Superviser le processus de fabrication au quotidien selon les normes de qualité;
  • Veiller à faire respecter les procédures d’opération et les règlements d’usines afin d’atteindre le niveau de performance souhaité;
  • Identifier les inefficacités et proposer des solutions pour optimiser la production;
  • Optimiser l’utilisation des équipements et des installations;
  • Superviser et encadrer les superviseurs, chefs d’équipe et employés sous sa responsabilité;
  • Participer activement aux projets d’amélioration continue; (Six Sigma, méthode 5S)
  • Assurer l’intégrité des données des rapports de production et toute documentation requise;
  • Assister au comité de direction, rédiger les objectifs stratégiques de son secteur de responsabilité;
  • Élaborer et suivre le budget de production et les coûts de main-d’œuvre;
  • Élaborer les indicateurs de performance propres à son service et en faire le suivi périodiquement ;
  • Collaborer avec les autres services (ventes, approvisionnement, logistique, qualité, maintenance) afin d’assurer la fluidité de l’ensermble de la production;
  • Promouvoir la santé et sécurité au travail et s’assurer de l’application des normes SST.

Profil recherché et habiletés requises

  • Leadership et capacité à prendre des décisions;
  • Détenir d’excellentes aptitudes en communication verbale et écrite;
  • Esprit analytique développé;
  • Excellent jugement et capacité de résoluti
  • on de problèmes;
    Professionnalisme dans ses relations interpersonnelles à tous les niveaux;
    Diplomatie et une excellente capacité d’écoute.

Connaissance, éducation et expérience
  • Détenir un diplôme d’études collégiales ou universitaires en génie mécanique ou études/expérience équivalente;
  • Connaissance dans l’industrie manufacturière des moules et du processus d’injection;
  • Connaissance et mise en pratique du Lean Manufacturing ;
  • Détenir un minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans un poste similaire;
  • Expérience en gestion d’une équipe de production;
  • Maîtrise des outils informatiques (suite Microsoft Office et Business Central).
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais), tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit;
