Job description

Starting in September 2026, Elk Valley Resources is recruiting co-op students currently enrolled in a Business Administration program focused on Human Resources. This position involves key HR responsibilities, including supporting recruitment tasks, conducting pre-employment screenings, and collaborating on departmental reports. You'll gain critical insights into HR operations while promoting workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities: • Adhere to health and safety protocols • Contribute to recruitment processes for hourly roles • Sort and categorize applications efficiently • Assist with onboarding and pre-employment checks • Collaborate in research and report writing

Requirements: • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with HR focus • Preferred Class 5 Driver's License • Motivated and detail-oriented • Strong written and verbal skills • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
