Shape your accounting career with a full-time Bookkeeper role in Ajax, Ontario. This position involves payroll preparation, financial record maintenance, and required onsite work every week.
As a Bookkeeper, you will take charge of payroll cheques, maintain general ledgers, and prepare financial reports. Using a blend of manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, you will ensure accurate financial records. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities: • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques accurately • Maintain and balance various accounts systematically • Prepare financial statements and general ledgers • Generate tax returns and trial balance of books • Create statistical and financial reports
Requirements: • Proficient understanding of MS Excel and MS Office • Solid experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting • Strong organizational skills and reliability • Ability to work independently in a structured environment • Must be authorized to work in Canada
