Job description
Elevate your architectural expertise as an Application Architect focused on GoA's strategic IMT initiatives. Drive solutions that enhance functional capabilities and streamline integration.

In this role, you will guide the implementation of application architecture that aligns with business needs at the Government of Alberta (GoA). Collaborate with a diverse team of architects and designers to create an enterprise application portfolio. Your focus will include optimizing support costs, ensuring real-time data management, and upgrading legacy systems through high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities: • Define and manage IMT solutions aligned with business needs • Implement application architecture for measurable benefits • Collaborate on the Business Number adoption Planning project • Support the re-platforming of the CASS database • Guide digitization of financial statement processes

Requirements: • Proven experience in application architecture using Microsoft .Net, Java, or Python • Familiarity with enterprise architecture standards and guidelines • Strong capability in design frameworks and component solutions • Expertise in technical documentation and quality control • Experience in project planning and resource management
