Things You Need to Have:
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in a related Information Technology/Engineering field.
• Have a minimum of five (5) years proven experience working as a Wireless Solutions Architect/Consultant, providing enterprise wireless architecture, design, and advisory services for complex, multi-site environments. This should include experience with:
o Wireless controller and access point refresh/migrations.
o WLAN standardization and multi-site rollout execution.
o Wi-Fi capacity upgrades and performance optimization.
o Security uplift initiatives (e.g., 802.1X, WPA2/WPA3Enterprise, certificate-based authentication).
o Guest wireless design and segmentation.
• Possess an active Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) – Wireless certification and maintain certification in good standing for the duration of the engagement.
Rated Resource Qualifications/Requirements

• Aligning technology initiatives with long-term business goals and transformation strategies, with clear traceability.
• Wireless networking and enterprise design principles.
• End-to-end traffic flow and dependency mapping (Layer 2/Layer 3), including integration points with core network
services (DNS, DHCP, PKI/certificates, NAC/ISE, firewall zoning, and logging/monitoring).
• Quality of Service (QoS) and design considerations for voice and latency-sensitive workflows over Wi-Fi in a healthcare environment.
Extensive experience with:
• Implementing Identity-based access control concepts and patterns using Cisco ISE, including policy sets, profiling, posture, and segmentation approaches such as dynamic VLAN assignment.
• Leading or contributing to large-scale wireless infrastructure design/standardization initiatives and/or solution deployments across complex, multi-site environments.
• Current-state assessment activities such as SSID (Service Set Identifier) inventory, controller/AP (Access Points) inventory, configuration approach comparison, and high-level wireless traffic flow mapping.
• Developing deliverables such as authentication flow diagrams, SSID matrices, Cisco ISE policy models, and high-level Layer 2/Layer 3 traffic flow diagrams.
• Defining and documenting standardized SSID models and onboarding patterns for managed devices, voice devices, partner/unmanaged devices, and guest access.
• Stakeholder engagement and facilitation, including workshops and design validation sessions with senior leaders, business owners, and technical teams.
• Knowledge transfer/training and producing clear, adoptable standards documentation that can be reused.
