Contract Reviewer

Job Description

As part of our Global Risk Management team, this role is responsible for supporting the operational business in entering into contracts with its clients and suppliers, while advising on the associated commercial and contractual risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake contract reviews and respond to contractual queries from operational teams.
• Liaise with professional liability and general insurance brokers to confirm appropriate coverage requirements.
• Provide ad hoc contractual and commercial advice to operational teams and liaise with clients and/or their legal representatives, where required, to help resolve contractual matters.
• Support operational teams through the Risk Management (RM) process, helping to resolve issues and facilitate timely contract execution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management tools, systems, and processes.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to enhance risk management awareness, compliance, and overall capability.
• SOX control responsibilities may form part of this role and must be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent legal qualification and/or relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a legal or contract-focused role, including previous experience reviewing and redrafting contracts.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and document management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Commercially minded with the ability to identify and escalate contractual and business risks appropriately.
• Experience working within a professional services, consulting, engineering, or project-based environment would be considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team environment.

The base salary range for this full-time role is $75,000 - $120,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
