On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Marketing Manager for a 1-year contract role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Senior Marketing Manager - Job Description:
This role supports the marketing objectives of a business group by creating, developing, and executing integrated marketing plans aligned with brand standards and strategic goals. The Senior Marketing Manager manages campaigns, vendor relationships, and cross-functional collaboration to drive customer marketing, sales promotion, and acquisition/retention initiatives. The position plays a key role in influencing business decisions and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Senior Marketing Manager - Responsibilities:
• Manage marketing campaigns end-to-end, from strategic planning to execution.
• Act as the day-to-day contact for vendors; support implementation, maintenance, and sustainment of vendor solutions.
• Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
• Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.
• Influence and negotiate to achieve business objectives.
• Recommend and implement solutions based on analysis of business issues.
• Support execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and track performance regularly, addressing any issues.
• Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate budgets and reporting to track actual results versus budget.
• Integrate information from multiple sources to improve processes and reporting.
• Monitor progress against milestones and recommend adjustments to meet objectives.
• Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within established guidelines.
Senior Marketing Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• 5-7 years of relevant asset management experience, including marketing ETFs.
• Degree or diploma in business, marketing, advertising, or communications.
• Advanced experience in developing marketing plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in collaboration and influence within a business context.
Senior Marketing Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Media agency experience.
• Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
• Experience managing cross-functional relationships and external partnerships.
• Ability to conduct independent analysis and provide strategic recommendations.
• Proven track record of influencing and negotiating to achieve business goals.
Senior Marketing Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension and conversion to full-time employment.
