As Technical Cloud and AI Strategy Lead, you will drive the design and delivery of analytics and AI/ML services built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your mission is to harness the power of Google Cloud to create sustainable competitive advantage across all MTY brands. You will serve as a subject matter expert for MTY and a lead collaborator with key digital partners, ensuring our technology investments translate into business growth, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Partnership Management: Serve as the strategic business lead for MTY’s relationship with Google Cloud and delivery partners, setting joint priorities, governing execution, and ensuring partners deliver measurable value across MTY brands.
• AI & ML Strategy: Define and help lead MTY’s AI/ML roadmap by identifying, prioritizing, and shaping use cases such as customer personalization, supply chain optimization, demand forecasting, marketing effectiveness, reporting/insights, and new revenue streams, leveraging GTM, BigQuery, Vertex AI, and the broader ecosystem (e.g., Databricks + Mosaic AI).
• Digital Governance & Enablement: Contribute to company standards for digital and AI initiatives, and transfer knowledge to internal teams—ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and cost-effective across MTY’s portfolio.
• Innovation: Stay ahead of industry and technology trends; engage with the broader ecosystem (e.g., Google, Databricks, and emerging AI vendors) to bring innovative ideas, prototypes, and best practices back to MTY.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with IT Infrastructure, Data, and Business teams to ensure cloud/AI products and services align to business needs, are adopted effectively, and drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in technology, digital, and/or innovation roles, with a proven track record of driving innovation and business results.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and a strong understanding of the broader data and AI ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of building and operating analytics and AI/ML solutions on GCP, including services such as BigQuery, Vertex AI, Customer Engagement Suite (CCAI), and related analytics and integration tools.
• Experience managing strategic relationships with technology partners and vendors.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, Wrike).
• Proficient with Database and data manipulation software (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Databricks, Azure, Big Query).
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders.
• Strategic thinkers with the ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.
• Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

● Preferred Qualifications: Experience in retail, food and beverage, or a related industry.
