Position Summary
As a maintenance Machinist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all the manufacturing equipment withing a secure print and technology company.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
Fabricate and modify parts using manual lathes, mills, and grinders.
Rebuild pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, and other mechanical components.
Install, align, and level new equipment.
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
Perform preventative maintenance and document all work performed.
Support production and engineering teams
Knowledge and Experience
Certificate of Certification as a General Machinist 429A, or Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) 433A
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong proficiency in manual machining (lathes, mills, grinders).
Solid understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of PLCs and electrical systems is an asset.
Welding GTAW, SMAW, GMA
