Job description
Join Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority as a Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist. Engage in preventative care and client education in a modern dental clinic setting.

This is an opportunity to work in a well-equipped dental environment that emphasizes ethical practice and strong client connections. You will utilize your skills in assessments, implement dental hygiene plans, and educate clients regarding oral health. The role demands hands-on experience in various hygiene practices while fostering fruitful relationships with clients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and assessments • Perform scaling, root planning, and periodontal therapy • Educate clients on oral health, smoking cessation, and nutrition • Consult with healthcare providers as necessary • Maintain quality assurance documentation

Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in accredited Dental Hygiene Program • Licensed in Ontario or eligibility for licensure • Familiarity with digital radiography and dental software • Proof of current First Aid and CPR certification • Ability to work in culturally diverse settings
