Property Administrator to support the financial and operational management of a dynamic commercial portfolio for our clint in Fort St. John, BC. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting and tenant relations experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in managing
accounts payable/receivable, tenant billing, and property operations , ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all financial and administrative processes. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and tenants to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities: - Assist with the review and approval of purchase orders and invoices
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and strong vendor relationships
- Review and resolve day-to-day A/P issues and supplier invoices
- Administer and monitor service contracts; review vendor and contractor performance
- Manage arrears: review accounts receivable reports, follow up on outstanding balances, and participate in monthly A/R meetings
- Review monthly rent rolls to ensure accuracy
- Liaise with property accountants on expense-related matters
- Support CAM management by monitoring expenses and maximizing recoveries
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Dispatch maintenance and security in response to tenant requests
- Prepare and issue tenant billings, including rental advice notices and adjustments
- Manage tenant accounts, including statements, late notices, and default letters in coordination with internal teams
- Support annual tenant billing processes (rent instalments, year-end adjustments) ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate rental adjustments and tenant communications related to charges
- Manage tenant chargebacks, including invoicing and follow-up
- Maintain tenant documentation and act as a key point of contact for tenant communication
- Liaise with accounting, lease administration, and legal teams to ensure accuracy of records
- Answer and direct phone calls; manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Provide general administrative support and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills: - Post-secondary education in a related field or accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial or retail property administration
- Experience with Yardi Property Management Software is an asset
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
