Job description
Drive effective municipal governance as the Supervisor for Council and Committee Services in Oakville. This permanent full-time role requires overseeing compliance and supporting high-quality administrative processes.

As a Supervisor in this non-union position, you will work closely with the Clerk and lead a team of Committee Coordinators to deliver transparent and compliant governance services. Your responsibilities will include ensuring legislative adherence while managing agendas, meeting minutes, and sensitive matters. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining operational integrity within the Clerk's Department.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee schedules and performance of three Committee Coordinators • Ensure compliance with all municipal legislation • Manage preparation and distribution of agendas and minutes • Support the Clerk by attending council meetings • Lead special projects related to Council services

Requirements: • 5+ years of municipal and supervisory experience • College diploma or university degree in relevant fields • Knowledge of Municipal Act, 2001 and legislation • Strong organizational and communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and meeting management systems
