Job description
Lead sync licensing initiatives with Warner Music Group in Toronto. This role combines creative vision with strategic marketing to capitalize on sync opportunities across diverse media platforms.

As the Director of Sync & Visual Media Licensing, you will oversee a talented team while shaping the sync strategy in alignment with global objectives. You will leverage your marketing, sales, and creative skills to drive revenue through impactful music placements in film, television, and advertisements. Collaborate effectively with global teams and local stakeholders to achieve ambitious goals and enhance WMG's market presence.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop regional sync strategy in line with global directives • Provide creative guidance for optimal music placements • Drive sales efforts to uncover new sync opportunities • Implement marketing strategies for WMG's sync catalog • Manage budget and revenue targets effectively

Requirements: • 10+ years of management experience in sync licensing • Deep knowledge of synchronization rights and music ownership • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills • Critical thinking for problem-solving in fast-paced environments • Exceptional catalog knowledge for informed recommendations
