About the Role


The IT Systems Administrator supports the company’s day-to-day IT operations, CRM administration, user onboarding, and the technical maintenance of the company’s WordPress websites and related web infrastructure. This is a hands-on support role focused on assisting with IT systems, SaaS platform administration, documentation, vendor coordination, and helping improve internal processes. The role works closely with the IT Systems & Operations Specialist to support the smooth operation of company systems and tools.


The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in IT support and troubleshooting, along with a working knowledge of WordPress and common business applications. They should be comfortable collaborating with franchise partners, vendors, Marketing, and internal teams to help maintain secure, reliable, and efficient systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important, as this role involves supporting users, explaining technical issues clearly, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders across the organization.



Key Responsibilities:

• WordPress & Website Technical Support
  • Act as the internal IT point of contact for WordPress websites and related web infrastructure.
  • Support WordPress administration, including users, permissions, access, plugins, themes, and basic configuration.
  • Coordinate with external website developers, hosting providers, and maintenance vendors.
  • Support website-related technical needs, including hosting, DNS, SSL, domains, backups, staging, uptime, security, and deployment coordination.
  • Assist with basic website troubleshooting, light HTML/CSS edits, integrations, forms, APIs, and third-party tools.
  • Maintain website documentation, access records, vendor contacts, and technical processes.
  • Help ensure website updates, fixes, and vendor work are properly tested, tracked, and documented.
  • Occasional after-hours availability may be required to support critical website outages, security incidents, or high-priority operational issues.

  • Support IT Systems & Operations Specialist
  • Support daily IT operations for franchise partners and HQ staff.
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, user accounts, access changes, MFA, and permission reviews.
  • Provide internal helpdesk support, troubleshooting, and escalation management.
  • Support Google Workspace and other SaaS platform administration.
  • Assist with workstation setup, equipment coordination, hardware tracking, and basic device provisioning.
  • Coordinate and actively manage IT vendor tickets, service requests, renewals, and escalations through resolution, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain IT asset records, system inventories, SOPs, access lists, and internal documentation.
  • Support audits, system reviews, process improvements, and recurring IT operational tasks.
    
    
• Documentation, Automation & Process Improvement
  • Create and maintain clear SOPs, checklists, and knowledge base articles.
  • Help improve repeatable workflows for IT requests, onboarding, offboarding, website changes, and vendor coordination.
  • Support basic no-code automation using tools such as Zapier, Make, forms, and workflow tools.
  • Assist with testing, reporting validation, integration troubleshooting, and operational follow-through.
    
    

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required:
  • Working knowledge of WordPress administration and common website technical issues (1-3 years of experience)
  • Experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar technical support role.
  • Understanding of hosting, DNS, SSL, domains, backups, staging environments, and website infrastructure.
  • Experience with user access management, SaaS administration, MFA, and basic security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace administration.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Strong documentation, organization, troubleshooting, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
    
    
• Nice-To-Haves:
  • Experience working with external websites or IT vendors.
  • Experience with ticketing/helpdesk systems.
  • Familiarity with Zapier, Make, or similar automation tools.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, web forms, CRM integrations, analytics tools, or messaging platforms.
  • Experience with IT audits, compliance tracking, access reviews, or operational process improvement.

The ideal candidate is a practical IT generalist who is organized, responsive, and comfortable balancing website technical support with broader IT administration. You do not need to be a developer or marketer, but you should understand enough about WordPress, infrastructure, access, security, and systems coordination to keep things moving and escalate issues properly when needed.
