Position Description

We are looking for a versatile and experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator & EUC Technician to manage, optimize, and secure our organization’s M365 environment while providing hands‑on, on‑site end‑user computing support. This is a dual‑focus role: you will serve as the subject‑matter expert (SME) for all M365 services — ensuring platform reliability, security compliance, and seamless collaboration tools — while also being the go‑to on‑site resource for desktop support, device lifecycle management, and end‑user assistance. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable configuring Conditional Access policies and swapping out a failed hard drive, bridging the gap between cloud administration and day‑to‑day IT operations. Your future duties and responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Platform Management

Act as one of the go‑to SMEs for the M365 tenant, providing deep technical expertise across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune. Actively contribute to the governance of user accounts, licenses, security groups, and distribution lists in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), ensuring alignment with organizational policies and best practices. Contribute on demand to the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of M365 applications, policies, and service settings to meet evolving business requirements. Monitor service health on demand, evaluate Message Center updates for organizational impact, and drive change communication with stakeholders. Security & Compliance

Actively contributes to the design and enforcement of Conditional Access policies, MFA, and Zero Trust security principles. Act as one of the go‑to SMEs for Microsoft Defender for Office 365, including anti‑phishing, anti‑malware, and Safe Links/Attachments policies. Actively contribute to the configuration and ongoing improvement of Microsoft Purview compliance features including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), retention policies, and eDiscovery. Review security alerts on demand, investigate incidents, and collaborate on remediation of vulnerabilities across the M365 environment. Participate in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) as they relate to M365 services. Identity & Access Management

Actively contribute to the management of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including hybrid identity, SSO configurations, and application registrations. Participate in the governance of Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and help enforce least‑privilege access controls. Configure and continuously improve Microsoft Intune on demand for endpoint management and mobile device/application management (MDM/MAM). Collaboration & Communication

Act as one of the go‑to SMEs for Microsoft Teams, covering meeting policies, channels, external access, and Teams Phone/calling configurations. Actively contributes to the management and governance of SharePoint Online sites, permissions, content types, and sharing policies. Design and configure Exchange Online mail flow rules on demand, connectors, shared mailboxes, and email security settings. Participate in OneDrive and SharePoint governance, including sharing policies and data lifecycle management. Automation & Reporting

Design and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and bulk operations, sharing knowledge and best practices with the broader IT team. Build and continuously improve reports using the M365 Admin Center, Microsoft 365 Defender portal, and Power BI to support data‑driven decision making. Contribute to automation and integration leveraging Microsoft Graph API where applicable. Support & Project Delivery

Serve as a key escalation resource for Tier 2/3 M365‑related incidents and service requests, bringing SME‑level knowledge to complex issues. Actively contribute to IT projects including M365 migrations, new service rollouts, and tenant‑to‑tenant migrations, providing technical guidance throughout. Contribute on demand to the creation and upkeep of technical documentation, runbooks, and end‑user guides to build organizational knowledge. Participate in delivering end‑user training and adoption support for M365 tools and features. End‑User Computing (EUC) & Desktop Support

Provide on‑site Tier 1/2 desktop support for hardware and software issues across Windows 10/11 workstations, laptops, and peripherals. Perform hardware lifecycle tasks including provisioning, imaging, configuration, and decommissioning of end‑user devices using Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT). Manage and troubleshoot device enrollment, compliance policies, and application deployment through Microsoft Intune. Install, configure, and maintain software applications, drivers, and OS updates on end‑user devices. Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues including Wi‑Fi, VPN, wired networking, and printer/peripheral connectivity. Support meeting room technology including AV equipment, Teams Rooms devices, and video conferencing systems. Coordinate hardware repairs and warranty replacements with vendors and service providers. Maintain accurate asset inventory records for all end‑user hardware and software in the ITSM/CMDB system. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes including workstation setup, account provisioning, and equipment collection. Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors while maintaining ownership and communication with end users. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

3+ years of hands‑on experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment. 2+ years of on‑site end‑user computing or desktop support experience in a corporate environment. Strong working knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID. Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management (MDM/MAM). Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for M365 administration and automation. Solid understanding of identity management, MFA, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust frameworks. Hands‑on experience with Windows 10/11 desktop support, imaging, and troubleshooting in a domain or Entra‑joined environment. Experience with device provisioning tools such as Windows Autopilot, MDT, or SCCM/MECM. Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripheral issues on site. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security and compliance tools (Defender, Purview, Secure Score). Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users. Preferred

Microsoft certifications: MS-102 (M365 Administrator Expert), MS-500 (Security Administrator), MS-700 (Teams Administrator), or equivalent. CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification for desktop/hardware support. Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) for software deployment and patch management. Experience with Azure services (Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure AD B2B/B2C, Azure Monitor). Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot for M365 deployment and governance. Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) in an M365 context. Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks. Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM platforms. Compensation

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy. Equal‑Opportunity Employer

As an equal‑opportunity employer, we provide an inclusive environment and encourage applicants of all backgrounds. If you require an accommodation, please let your recruiter know. For accessibility requests, contact CGI via email. Position Description (French)

Participer aux projets IT : migrations M365, déploiement de nouveaux services, migrations tenant‑to‑tenant.
