Job description
Business Development Manager – Specification Sales – Canada East Bromic Heating, a global leader in innovative heating solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager – Specification Sales to join our team in East Canada. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive growth in the architectural, commercial, and design markets, managing key relationships and leading specification sales projects. The role combines fieldwork with strategic business development, offering autonomy and the chance to make a significant impact on Bromic’s Canadian expansion.

Who We Are Looking For:

Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities in a commercial or specification sales environment.

Strong “hunter” mentality with the ability to uncover and influence early-stage projects.

Excellent negotiation, closing, and solution-selling skills; able to sell on value, not price.

Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused mindset.

Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely while managing an on-the-road territory.

Role Responsibilities

Territory & Sales Growth – Build and manage a pipeline of specification and commercial projects, engaging architects, designers, developers, contractors, and engineers, and influence projects from concept to close.

Pipeline Ownership & Forecasting – Maintain high-quality CRM records, track project conversion and cycle time, and deliver accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.

Tech-Enabled Business Development – Leverage Bromic’s digital tools and CRM dashboards to identify early-stage opportunities, map ecosystems, and improve targeting efficiency.

Design & Technical Collaboration – Partner with Bromic’s design services team to provide layouts, drawings, and technical recommendations for projects.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Awareness – Monitor competitor activity, protect pricing integrity, and identify market patterns to enhance sales effectiveness.
