The Consultant, Business Performance Partner will report to the Director, Operational Excellence. The Operational Excellence professional drives enterprise‑wide performance improvement by identifying and executing transformation opportunities. They lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency, eliminate waste, reduce defects, and enhance overall quality, while building organizational capability through the application of modern process improvement methodologies.
Your Contributions to the Organization
Lead high impact Lean Six Sigma projects
aligned with strategic business goals and KPIs. Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify and execute process improvements using DMAIC and Kaizen methodologies to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase efficiency. Quantify results and ROI, present insights to senior leadership, and support change management through strong stakeholder engagement, visual management, and performance dashboards.
Build capability & foster a high‑performing culture of continuous improvement
by delivering Lean Six Sigma training, coaching employees at all levels, and mentoring CI practitioners. Facilitate Kaizen events, A3 thinking, and root‑cause problem solving while supporting leaders in embedding Tiered Accountability and standard work practices.
Design and maintain performance
that deliver real‑time operational insights, enabling leaders to make data‑driven decisions. Support performance management through standardized reporting and analytics that promote accountability and drive action, with experience in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker considered an asset.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement , embedding Lean principles into daily operations and long‑term strategy.
Collaborate with regional leaders
to streamline processes, align on KPIs, and standardize best practices across Canada.
Drive innovation and operational excellence , ensuring every improvement initiative delivers value to our customers and the healthcare system.

Proven track record
of leading impactful Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement initiatives, with a passion for driving operational excellence.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills
— able to engage and align stakeholders at all levels, from the front line to senior leadership.
Strong leadership presence
with the ability to coach, facilitate, and lead diverse teams through change and transformation.
Analytical mindset
with the ability to translate data into insights and action. Proficient in tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
Hands‑on experience
applying Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC methodologies to reduce waste, improve flow, and enhance quality and productivity.
Project management expertise , with the ability to manage multiple initiatives of varying complexity and deliver results on time and within scope.
Technical & Industry Experience
Experience in
Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Distribution
environments.
Familiarity with
WMS, ERP systems , and
process automation
tools is a strong asset.
Experience building and maintaining performance dashboards to support data‑driven decision‑making.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in
engineering, business, science , or a related field (Industrial Engineering preferred).
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
certification preferred (or willingness to complete through our internal Black Belt program).
PMP certification
is an asset.
Bonus Attributes
Certified Yellow or Green Belt (if not Black Belt).
Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience leading continuous improvement or operational excellence projects, preferred.
Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of urgency, excellent time management, and the ability to thrive in both team‑based and independent work environments.
Skilled in facilitation, presentation, and change management.
