Position Overview:
Manages the day-to-day work assignments within the support areas and modalities at the clinic, ensuring all necessary duties are covered. Re-adjusts staff schedules to allow for sick/vacation coverage as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate staffing including staff schedules, managing sick calls and vacation requests
- Work collaboratively with other operation coordinators or clinic managers, share resources, human and otherwise, on an as needed basis.
- Ensure that patient and physician concerns are handled in a timely manner and escalates to the clinic manager as necessary.
- Establish and monitors inventory and ordering controls; orders supplies.
- Assist employees in the completion of incident reports
- Coordinate new employees/student orientations to the clinic
- Assist with facility maintenance and escalates to clinic manager as necessary
- TLD submission and employee notification
- Record & document minutes at clinic staff and QA meetings
- Address employee concerns, such as payroll, and ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
- Work with clinic manager on workflow and efficiency reviews
- Report any technical and/or quality issues to the clinic manager
- Monitor the equipment maintenance programs
- Work collaboratively with technical staff, escalate equipment issues/downtime as appropriate, ensuring that downtime is minimized
- Assist the clinic manager in preparation for CPSO inspections, compiling required data, records and employee/Radiologist information
- Work collaboratively with the clinic manager, ensure that performance reviews/appraisals are completed for all employees at assigned clinics.
- Work with the clinic manager, ensures that the assigned clinics are staffed properly.
- Under the guidance of the clinic manager, has authority to “manage” all clinic staff ensuring the efficient and effective operations at each clinic of responsibility.
- Assist with organizing coverage in support roles (reception, booking, etc.) when staff are sick or on vacation.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
- Must have strong verbal and written communications skills
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills
- Must be well organized and have the ability to prioritize activities on an ongoing basis; adapting to changing needs
- Is able to foster a team environment within an interdisciplinary environment
- Preference given to those with previous Imaging experience
- Must have minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience within a healthcare setting
- Post-secondary education preferred

This role is for an existing vacancy. The expected hiring range for this role is from $23 - $25 per hour. Final compensation is determined based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience level, and internal equity. Candidates with significantly more experience may be considered at a higher level with adjusted compensation for certain roles.
