Title: CDM developer
Duration: 12 Months
Duration: 6 Months Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Pay Range: C$41 INC
Experience Required: 6–8 Years

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Certent Disclosure Management (CDM) Developer to design, develop, and support financial reporting and regulatory disclosure solutions. The role involves working extensively with the Certent CDM platform to build and enhance SEC filing processes, automate financial statement preparation, and develop scalable solutions, along with strong expertise in Excel-based data processing, integration, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Certent Disclosure Management (CDM) solutions for financial reporting and disclosures
Build and enhance automation workflows for SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and financial statements
Develop and manage data integrations between ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Certent CDM
Create and optimize Excel-based data models, automation scripts, and reusable components
Configure and customize Certent templates, reports, and business rules
Implement data validation frameworks, reconciliation logic, and automated tie-outs
Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Audit teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Support and enhance XBRL tagging automation and filing processes
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve system efficiency
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, data inconsistencies, and system defects

Required Skills & Qualifications
6–8 years of experience in Certent CDM development and/or financial systems development
Advanced expertise in Client Excel automation (mandatory)
Strong experience with:
Advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH)
Pivot tables, dashboards, and complex data modeling
Macros and VBA scripting (strongly preferred)
Experience in data integration, transformation, and validation
Experience supporting financial reporting and regulatory disclosure solutions
