Junior Data Entry Analyst

Located at a premier office in Toronto, this hybrid role (3–4 days a week onsite) offers core working hours from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (36.25 hour work week), providing great structure and flexibility.

In this role, you will play a critical part in helping the agency comply with the recently enacted Buy Ontario Act legislation. Working alongside the core data analysis team, you will extract large data, research, use AI-assisted tools, and populate tracking dashboards in Excel. - Excel Data Entry: Accurately populate and maintain standardized spreadsheets using dropdown lists
- Data Verification: Apply critical thinking to cross-reference and validate AI-generated findings against verified company sources, ensuring 100% data completeness and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Sit alongside and support the broader data analysis team, proactively reporting anomalies or root-cause errors found during data auditing.

Qualifications
- Education: Post-secondary education (College Diploma or University Degree) in Business, Data, Finance, or a related field; new graduates eager to learn are highly welcome.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (handling dropdown lists and formatting data) and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook).
- AI Tool Familiarity: Previous experience or high comfort level using generative AI or automated tools to conduct web research and validate data is considered a strong asset.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to detect data errors, resolve discrepancy root causes, and protect data quality.
- Soft Skills: Must be an independent self-starter, highly responsible, and possess an exceptional eye for detail.
