Senior ERP Business Analyst – SCM, ERP & Warehouse Operations

Job Title: IT Business Analyst (75%) / Product Owner (25%)

Contract position, 12-month duration.

Hybrid work arrangement: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.

Job Overview

Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner with 12+ years of experience supporting enterprise business systems, operational process improvement, and technology delivery initiatives. Focus on Business Analysis (75%) and Product Ownership (25%) to support strategic initiatives and operational delivery across warehouse, supply chain, logistics, and ERP operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accountability #1: Identify and Define Business & System Requirements

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions across operational and corporate teams.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, workflows, process maps, user stories, and solution documentation.
• Analyze current‑state and future‑state business processes.
• Support gap analysis, process optimization, and solution recommendations.
• Collaborate with development teams to clarify business rules and technical requirements.

Accountability #2: Project Coordination & Delivery Support

• Support project planning, coordination, and delivery activities across multiple initiatives.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Assist with prioritization activities and support Product Owner responsibilities where required.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, and action items related to project delivery.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.

Accountability #3: System Testing & Implementation Support

• Develop and coordinate test scenarios, test cases, and UAT activities.
• Support defect identification, triage, and resolution coordination.li>
• Validate implemented solutions against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Assist with deployment readiness, implementation planning, and production rollout activities.
• Support change management and user adoption initiatives.

Accountability #4: Production Support, Reporting & Training

• Provide production support coordination and operational issue analysis.
• Support troubleshooting activities involving ERP, warehouse, logistics, and integrated business systems.
• Assist with operational reporting, KPI analysis, and business insights.
• Develop training materials, process documentation, and user guides.
• Conduct end‑user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational optimization efforts.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or related enterprise delivery roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong experience working with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Solid understanding of Warehouse Operations and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• Experience with warehouse and shipping platforms such as Oracle TM, Techsys, and ShipIT.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced enterprise environments.
• ITIL v4 (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset, and Configuration Management).
• Project and portfolio management, Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid.

Communication and Collaboration Skills

• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical team members.
• Demonstrated skill in collaborative work across departments, with a focus on knowledge sharing and team‑oriented problem‑solving.
• The ideal candidate can comfortably bridge the gap between operations, business teams, and technology teams.
• They should be capable of understanding operational pain points, translating them into structured requirements, and helping drive delivery through both business analysis and product ownership practices.
