Network Analyst

4 days per week in office - Toronto OR Calgary officeNorton Rose Fulbright Canada is looking for a network analyst in the IT Infrastructure services team.This position requires good technical expertise across enterprise networking technologies , including but not limited to Cisco Routing/Switching, Cisco Nexus 9K series, Aruba Wireless, Versa SD-WAN, and Check Point firewalls. H ands-on experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 Cisco switching is essential.This role involves handling support incidents, service requests, and contributing to major infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work on-site at a Canadian office four days per week.You will be focusing on:Diagnose and resolve network issues across SD-WAN, LAN (Cisco Catalyst 9300/9500, Nexus 9K), WLAN, and security platforms (firewalls).Configure and support advanced switching technologies includingApply strong understanding of networking protocols and technologiesUtilize knowledge of infrastructure cabling and transceivers to support physical network deployments.Manage enterprise routing.Proficient in the configuration and support of wireless networks (Aruba ) and Wi‑Fi platform s, with responsibilities such as SSID setup, basic access point configuration, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC) technologieStrong knowledge of cloud networking (preferably Microsoft Azure), including ExpressRoute, route table design and management, and cloud‑based VPN solutions.Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise firewallsDevelop and maintain documentationExperience with network monitoring and alerting toolsResolve support tickets assigned to the Data Centre and Networks team, ensuring timely troubleshooting, documentation, and follow‑up.Raise, manage, and present changes in CAB meetings, and implement approved changes as needed.Experience with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA is a strong asset.What you bring to the role:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science/Network Communications.Relevant certifications (CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP).5–7 years’ experience of hands on experience in network analysis, operations, and vendor management.Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, CheckPoint, and network access control.Proficient with Cisco switching/routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and large‑scale VLAN architectures (VRRP, HSRP).Experience with Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA) and HPE Aruba wireless solutions.Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Cloud service s (Azure, O365, Teams).Strong understanding of netw ork security , audits, and vulnerability assessments.Familiar with tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, and configuration/management platformsWhy join our team:Retirement savings plan with employer contributionBenefit premiums paid by the firmTelemedicine servicesWellness matters: Flexible health and wellness allowance that covers much more than gym memberships!Training and development programs based on your interests and needsSalary band for this highly technical role : $89,000 to $100,000The salary bands provided reflect the typical range for this role in the region indicated.
