Job description
Join Tolko as the Sales Development Lead focusing on Lumber Specialties in Vernon, British Columbia. This role demands strong skills in product positioning and market analysis to drive sales success.

You will need over 2 years of experience in wood product sales and an associated post-secondary degree. This role entails collaboration with logistics and manufacturing to ensure customer requirements are met effectively. Your ability to analyze market trends and competitor actions will significantly impact our strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities: • Drive sales strategies for Tolko’s lumber specialties • Work alongside production and logistics teams • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities • Conduct negotiations for customer claims effectively • Assist in preparing annual budgets and strategic plans

Requirements: • Minimum 2 years experience in wood sales • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills • Strong analytical abilities using computer tools • Familiarity with sawmill operations is a plus
