Job description
TELLING CAPTIVATING STORIES TO AUDIENCES EVERYWHERE Blue Ant Media (TSX: BAMI) is an international streamer, production studio, advertising sales and rights-management business. The company operates a diverse portfolio of free streaming and pay TV channels internationally, including Love Nature, Cottage Life, Smithsonian Channel Canada, BBC Earth Canada, HauntTV, Homeful, and Love Pets, as well as the subscription streaming service MagellanTV. Its studio business produces and distributes a wide range of premium content across key genres for streaming and broadcast platforms worldwide. Blue Ant Media is headquartered in Toronto, with a presence in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Singapore, London, Washington, Sydney, Halifax, and Ottawa. Our employees are passionate experts in all of our business areas. They are fanatical about creating outstanding content and experiences, and about delivering them on new and evolving platforms. We actively seek new employees who embody our core values. We want them to think big, act with purpose, celebrate creativity, do the right thing, respect one another, and succeed together. We attract creative talents who are optimistic about the evolving future of content and who take pride in recognizing opportunities where others see challenges. At Blue Ant Media, we give them the flexibility to think like entrepreneurs, take ownership of their projects, take risks, and embrace innovation in a rapidly evolving media landscape. Our team members excel at collaborating with internal and external partners by building trusting, respectful working relationships. Marketing Specialist, Studios, Rights and Corporate As Marketing Specialist, Studios, Rights and Corporate at Blue Ant, you will play a key role in shaping and elevating the brand across development, production, distribution, and corporate. Acting as a brand steward, you will ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints while driving integrated, multi‑channel marketing initiatives. You’ll lead the execution of marketing campaigns, oversee the development of creative assets, and manage key marketing tools and workflows, including trackers. From crafting compelling materials to supporting strategic and tactical campaigns, you will contribute to building the studio’s and company’s global presence and impact. You’ll also own core processes – such as video reels – ensuring high‑quality, timely delivery. Success in this role will rely on strong cross‑functional collaboration, as you work closely with internal teams and external partners to amplify content, support business priorities, and maximize visibility in a competitive global market. This role will report to the VP, Marketing, Studios, Rights and Corporate and is a hybrid position requiring in‑office attendance at our head office in Toronto for a minimum of three (3) days per week. The anticipated salary for this role is $60,000 per year, with final compensation determined by experience and qualifications. Core Responsibilities & Duties

Act as a brand champion, ensuring consistent application of approved branding across all touchpoints including websites, presentations, markets, advertising, and communications. Support the development and evolution of the corporate brand narrative, positioning, and key marketing messaging across business units. Help elevate the studio’s profile at key international markets, festivals, and industry events (MIPCOM, Realscreen, London Screenings, KidScreen, Annecy, etc.). Monitor industry trends, competitive positioning, and audience insights to inform marketing strategies and messaging. Partner with the VP, Marketing on initiatives across Studios and Corporate, including development, production, and support distribution marketing plans and campaign execution. Collaborate with development teams to shape early positioning, titles, and marketing materials to ensure market readiness. Work closely with production teams to capture and curate on‑set content (stills, behind‑the‑scenes, video, shot lists) for marketing, PR and sales use. Lead and support marketing campaigns and series launches from planning through execution, including delivering assets to partners, platforms, and talent. Manage the creation, organization, and delivery of marketing assets (photography, key art, video, etc.), ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and timelines. Support marketing team to maintain marketing trackers, deliverables, and internal marketing tools. Coordinate with PR, talent, and external partners on promotional opportunities, press days, and launch moments. Support paid media and advertising initiatives, including briefing, trafficking assets, and monitoring performance. When needed, support brand licensing initiatives by developing marketing materials, toolkits, and guidelines for partners as requested. Collaborate with licensing and commercial teams on co‑branded campaigns, and retail moments, to maximize visibility and revenue opportunities. Support funding applications and other strategic marketing initiatives as required. Qualifications

2–5 years of experience (non‑internship) in the film, television, or entertainment industry; experience at a studio, streamer, or media company is preferred. Proven experience planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, traditional, influencer, and events. Strong copywriting skills and a sharp eye for creative, with attention to detail in both messaging and design. Experience managing the development of marketing materials, including decks, advertising assets, and promotional content. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills— a natural relationship builder across teams and partners. Experience negotiating advertising buys or working with media partners is an asset. Self‑starter with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Nice to Have

Experience marketing consumer shows, trade shows, festivals, conferences, ticketed events, attractions or live shopping experiences. Experience in home, design, cottage, lifestyle, parenting, baby, wellness, food, retail or similar consumer categories. Experience developing co‑promotion campaigns with major brands, media partners, retailers or associations. Familiarity with Wrike or similar project management tools. Experience with Mailchimp or other email marketing platforms. Experience with Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or other social platforms. At Blue Ant Media, we believe promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion is everyone's responsibility. We can all contribute. As a global media company, we recognize our platform and opportunity to influence change and promote a more inclusive world. We know what we create, distribute, and produce is better with a diverse workforce. In recruiting for our teams, we encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds (who are eligible to work in Canada) and welcome the unique contributions each person brings.
